Who We Are

EquiPoise is owned and operated by Marie VanDenburgh. Marie is a certified Equine & Canine Massage Therapist through the Midwest Natural Healing for Animals where she studied the Amassage method. Through the Amassage method, Marie focuses on finding the original source of pain and then reconnects, rebuilds, and rebalances the horse through massage therapy,  groundwork and under saddle therapy. In addition to learning massage therapy techniques and equine biomechanics through MNHA and being certified in Myofascial Release and Cranio-Sacral Therapy, she also studied equine anatomy and disease and injury at Cazenovia College where she earned her Bachelors of Professional Studies degree specializing in Equine Business Management. Marie has been working with horses since she was a kid and has been caring for horses for over 15 years. She currently is an instructor and manages a therapeutic riding facility in NY that she has been a part of for 13 years. In her free time she likes to spend time with her rescued standardbred Sarge and dog Neno.

Who We Serve

EquiPoise serves all equines & canines in Massachusetts and will travel to equine clients. No matter the discipline, activity level, age, or breed, massage therapy can be beneficial.
